Trinity Academy Debate

 From the classical Greek era to the days before the American Civil War to modern, televised political debates, argumentation has been a fundamental part of education, law, and other areas of society.  At Trinity Academy, the activity of debate is intended to strengthen a student's ability to think critically, research a subject areas using sound analytical practices, and encourage persuasive public forum on a number of topics.  Furthermore, the skill-set students acquire from debating enables them to read and understand Scripture and other theological topics in a clear and comprehensive manner.  The debaters of Trinity Academy are committed to the instruction of Paul in Colossians 4:6, "Let your speech be always gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer each person."
